Detailed Description

We have jointly developed this 8 session programme to provide additional support for teachers new to special schools or in their first eight months of teaching in a special school or specialist setting, to complement the support already being given by their school’s Induction Tutor. It will also provide them with opportunities to liaise with teachers from other special schools and settings across the County and beyond.

There will be a variety of experienced teachers, lecturers and leaders contributing to the teaching on this programme from across all partners.

As the programme progresses, there will be opportunities for three half day mentoring sessions.
