Unsure how to meet the needs of learners with dyslexic-type difficulties in your setting?

Do you want to find out more about approaches to assessment and teaching?

Content will include:

  • How to complete reading assessment – single word reading, nonword reading, miscue analysis, reading comprehension
  • How to complete writing assessment – spelling, text level free writing, handwriting
  • Using assessment information to set targets
  • Elements of lesson planning – use of resources, timing, and pacing
