An international educational study trip designed for MSc Project Management, MSc Logistics and Supply Chain and MBA students, offering first-hand exposure to industry practices, sustainability, logistics, and operations across Germany. The 14-day programme combines academic site visits, industry engagement, and cultural experiences, supporting students’ professional development and global project awareness.

This international study trip provides our MSc and MBA students with a unique opportunity to enhance their academic learning through real-world exposure to global business and project environments. Developed with the support of the International Engagement Team, the Professional Business School, and Faculty Deans, the 14-day programme takes place in Germany and is designed to integrate academic insight, industry practice, and experiential learning.

The programme cost includes flight tickets from and to London, Train ticket between cities in Germany, accommodation for 14 days, daily breakfast, organised site visits, travel insurance, airport transfers and coach hire for some scheduled visits. Students will be responsible for additional personal expenses, including most meals, visa and local public transport.

Note: The £190 deposit is non-refundable. If you withdraw before supplier's free-reduction deadline (TBC), any instalments paid after the deposit will be refunded. If you withdraw after this date, no refund can be given, and you will remain responsible for the full contribution, as the University will already have committed these costs to the travel provider.

If a replacement student can be found and the provider accepts a name change, we will refund the amount you have paid, less the deposit and any provider fees.

Requests relating to visa refusal or serious, evidenced circumstances will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

If the University cancels the trip, all payments, including the deposit, will be refunded in full.
