Detailed Description
This payment is for the license to take unlimited images for personal or research use while in the Searchlight Archive. The license is valid for one calendar day, and we recommend purchasing it on the day of your visit. Items can be withheld from access to photograph at the discretion of the archivist, and all photographs must be taken in accordance with the Archive guidelines. Please note that this license does not guarantee access to the archive – this is arranged through the Archivist who can be contacted at [email protected]
By purchasing this license you confirm that you have not previously been supplied with copies of the same images you will take by yourself or another librarian/archivist, that you will not use the images except for research or private study and that you will not transfer the images to another person.
Please note that this Photo License does not grant any right or license for the use of copyrighted items held in the archive. If items are required for commercial use (such as in an exhibit, film or publication), the Archive does offer commercial digitisation and can provide licensing for items where the copyright is held by Searchlight.
