Detailed Description
If you have been approved for a Carers parking permit for the 2026/2027 academic year.
You can purchase a permit for one semester (£52.50) or for the full academic year (£105.00) by adding 2 permits to your basket. Permit fees are currently under review, so purchasing a full-year permit now secures the current rate for the entire academic year.
Only approved applications will have vehicle details added to the Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) system and be granted access to the barrier-controlled car parks using their University ID card.
Subject to the options selected during the application process. This permit allows parking at Waterside and the Development Hub or Scholars Green Student Village.
Once your application has been approved by the Parking Team and the required evidence has been verified, you can purchase your permit here.
Once payment has been received, your vehicle details will be added to the ANPR parking system, and you may park from the date shown on your payment receipt.
To access the Waterside car parks (CP4 or CP2), you must swipe your University ID card on the intercom card reader at the entrance barrier. Access permissions will only be activated once payment for your permit has been received.
If you live at Scholars Green Student Village, you will be issued with a permit that must be clearly displayed in your vehicle windscreen.
