Microsoft Project Training MSc Project Management Students May 2026

MS Project

£15.00

Description

Microsoft Project is one of the most widely used project management software tools across industries. This hands-on face-to-face training is designed to help students develop practical scheduling, planning, and project management skills using MS Project. Participants will also receive temporary access to an MS Project licence until their official graduation.

Detailed Description

This face-to-face Microsoft Project training programme has been developed in response to strong student interest and demand for practical project management software skills.

MS Project is widely used across industries including project management, construction, engineering, operations, consultancy, and business planning. Developing hands-on experience with this software can significantly enhance students’ employability and professional readiness before graduation.

The training will be delivered during two interactive 3-hour sessions (22nd and 29th May 2026, 10:00 to 13:00). During the first workshop, participants will be introduced to the software environment, core menus, scheduling tools, and key project management functions through guided practical exercises. Students will then complete an independent practical task before the second session.

The follow-up session will focus on reviewing the practical exercise, discussing common challenges, answering questions, and strengthening participants’ confidence in using the software in realistic project scenarios.

Students participating in the training will receive access to an MS Project licence linked to their university account, which will remain active until official graduation. Participants are required to attend both sessions in full and bring a personal laptop suitable for software installation and use throughout the training.

Due to limited capacity, priority will be given to students approaching graduation.
