Aimed at a wide range of health, social care and education professionals including registered nurses, Nursing Associates, Healthcare Assistants, Social Workers, SENCO’s and Teachers (to name a few) this interactive and interprofessional workshop explores child and adolescent mental and emotional health and what constitutes wellbeing.  It provides participants with an opportunity to take part in exploring the impact of childhood experiences and issues affecting young peoples’ emotional health including the ever growing, all-encompassing digital world

You will explore:

·      Adverse childhood experiences (ACES)

·    An introduction to the concepts of self-worth and emotional resilience

·     Young people in crisis and social media

Your attendance on this course will enable you to gain an understanding and awareness of adverse childhood illnesses and the reality of Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS).
