The Chancellor’s Fund is a bi-annual fund for students, supported by generous gifts from alumni and other benefactors. Students of the University of Northampton may apply for the fund for various reasons such as; support for travel, training and research and extra-curricular activities.

The BA Acting programme was first offered in 2006 and since its inception has established itself as a centre for excellence in performance training. The Acting Supporters Circle has been established to support the Acting and Acting for Creative and Devised Performance programmes at the university by sponsorship and donation, to help with increasing costume, prop and set stores and further enhancing the professionalism of final year shows
