The Chancellor’s Fund is a bi-annual fund for students, supported by generous gifts from alumni and other benefactors. Students of the University of Northampton may apply for the fund for various reasons such as; support for travel, training and research and extra-curricular activities. The number of applications over recent years has increased greatly and we are able to help support more and more inspiring stories.
Recent recipients include George Rockell, a BSc Land Management student, who travelled to New Zealand to study the drinking habits of bats. He received £1,000 from the Chancellors fund, and to find out more about George and the great work he did with bats see here.
Further support of the Chancellor’s Fund will enable more students to have the opportunity to undertake projects which they may not have the opportunity to otherwise. By receiving funding from the Chancellors Fund, we are adding to their learning experience which, in turn, benefits their fellow students and the wider community.
