Detailed Description

The BA Acting programme at the University of Northampton was established in 2006 and since its inception has established itself as a centre for excellence in performance training. In 2014 the programme was awarded Estill Voice Training Affiliate Status making it one of only 8 institutions in the world to receive this prestigious recognition.  In 2017 it became the home of the Midlands Voice Conference, hosting the world’s leading practitioners in voice and putting the programme and university on the map for the industry.  Graduates have gone on to work with the BBC, in feature films and in the West End.

As we continue to grow the reputation of Acting at the University of Northampton, we are keen to form strong links with the local community and businesses. We are currently looking for local companies and/or individuals to form an Acting Supporters’ Circle to sponsor or donate to our department to help with increasing our prop, costume and set stores which will all contribute to raising the profile and further enhance the professionalism of our final year shows.

In recognition of contributions, we can offer acknowledgement/promotion within our programmes which are seen by audience members and depending on how involved you would like to be we could offer a more collaborative relationship.
