The Venice Biennale is the oldest and largest biennial of contemporary art in the world, hosted over two main sites – the Arsenale and Giardini (see http://www.labiennale.org/en/Home.html), and is a amazing opportunity to experience a broad cross-section of approaches to contemporary art.

In addition to the Bienniale there are several other high profile contemporary art venues in the city, including the Punta della’Dogana and Palazzo Grassi.

Finally, Venice is one of the most beautiful and engaging cities in the world, and this time of year is an ideal time to experience its unique character. This includes numerous churches, palazzos and museums.
