Detailed Description
One of the most important and basic human needs is to feel connected and therefore any education setting that wishes to develop an inclusive culture, needs to put strengthening connection and relationships at the heart of its vision. This workshop introduces an explicit restorative framework underpinned by evidence that can consistently support the implementation of strong, healthy and positive relational practice to support social and emotional mental health and well-being.
This workshop is led by Dr Nicola Preston, Deputy Head of Education, Adjunct Faculty International Institute for Restorative Practices and experienced restorative facilitator, researcher and trainer & Brian McLaughlin, North Northamptonshire Inclusion Officer, UoN Associate Lecturer and experienced restorative practitioner.
The workshop is suitable for SENCOs, Pastoral/Safeguarding Leads and Behaviour Co-ordinators.
