This CPD workshop is an opportunity to consider the variations in assessment and communication techniques needed to manage the paediatric patient presenting in the pre-hospital environment. The study day will also cover adjustments to advanced life support for the paediatric patient, safety of pharmacological interventions, common paediatric conditions and their evidence-based management before finishing with some application to practice using clinical scenarios and case-based discussions.

Participants will explore the following key areas:

·       Pharmacological Considerations for paediatrics

·       Common conditions and managemen

·       Paediatric Advanced Life Support

·       Trauma considerations for paediatrics suffering from burns and non-accidental injury
