This ½ day CPD workshop provides an overview of the importance of early childhood development and the impact of early experiences on infant mental health and wellbeing. The course covers key concepts and theories related to infant mental health, including attachment theory, brain development, and the impact of adverse childhood experiences.  

The recent development in the NHS’s ‘Perinatal Mental Health Care Pathway’ has highlighted the need for this training as specialist expertise are required to manage complex or severe perinatal health problems.

This ½ day CPD workshop offers an opportunity to explore Infant Mental Health & Wellbeing and the training pathways that are available for you to develop high quality skills within your professional practice to support the healthy development of infants and young children and promote positive outcomes for families and communities.
