This CPD ½ day is an introductory course designed to increase mental health awareness, give an understanding of how to look after wellbeing and challenge stigma.  Delivered by qualified Mental Health First Aid instructors, the course is fully endorsed by Mental Health First Aid England and contains evidence-based content for quality CPD.

Participants will investigate:

·      The meaning of Mental Health

·      Mental Health Continuum

·      Basic ‘what to look for’

·      Tools for wellbeing

·      Your own mental health and wellbeing

Attending this ½ day introductory course will help you to raise awareness of mental health in your setting.  You will feel more confident and capable of dealing with mental health situations and be able to promote early intervention to enable recovery.
